What is it all about?

We’re always looking for young and passionate talents to join our teams. That’s why we have established the Junior Executive Program at the entry level.

Our Junior Executive Program has a duration for 12 months—and is for talented recent graduates. As opposed to our Global Graduate Program, you will not rotate in between different teams. Instead, you will become an integrated member of a team for a full year. You will work along side experienced professionals, whose guidance and coaching you can use for your development.

The Junior Executive Program is only the beginning of your career! We see your career as a long-term commitment and the program facilitates a rapid learning process that will help you get ready for a permanent position at British American Tobacco.

We’ll challenge you and give you responsibility starting from day one, allowing you to develop your career as an international business leader with the required support at every stage of the process, including ongoing feedback and coaching.

We take great pride in growing talents from within. Therefore, there is a great chance for a future at BAT once the program has finished. In the last three years, most of our Junior Executives have been promoted to a permanent position—all within their first year!

Am I qualified?

In order to quality for our Junior Executive program, you need to be a recent graduate. Your educational background has to be relevant to the Junior Executive program you are interested in and will always be specified on the individual job ad. Most of our current Junior Executives have a background in Marketing, Communications or Finance. However, some roles require a background in IT, Business Intelligence, or Supply Chain.

If you are ambitious, mature and structured, then you have what it takes. As a person, you have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You have a proven track record of high performance and results. Additionally, you are an advanced Excel and PowerPoint user. You have experience either from an internship or a student job.

As our corporate language is English, fluency in English is a must. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus, but not a requirement.
